On June 8–9, 2024, the Forum Across the Divide presented the Academic Forum on the Opportunities and Challenges of AI in Art and Design Education, bringing together artists and educators to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming the teaching and practice of art and design.

Across two days of presentations and discussions — Saturday, June 8 (2:00–6:20 PM) and Sunday, June 9 (from 9:00 AM) — speakers shared research, classroom approaches, and creative work examining both the opportunities and the challenges that AI brings to the field.

The forum was presented by the Association of Chinese Artists in American Academia (美国大学中国艺术家学会).
